The oldest church was so beautiful - I got goose bumps, your writing and photos conveyed it's atmosphere to me, here on the opposite side of the world. The stave church gave me Tolkien illustration vibes (Beorn's hall in the Hobbit and Meduseld, unsurprising given Tolkien's influences!) Thank you.
